About Us

Set Apart Woodworks is a family owned woodworking business based out of central WI. We, Ryan and Alyssa Achterberg, have been blessed over the last few years with many woodworking tools that have helped us build our own home and homestead. We have decided to use them to make a living and an inheritance for our young children. Our mission is to be set apart, live the Bible, and make signs glorifying to the Father. 

Made with LOVE and handled by us every step of the way. Our signs are made from locally sourced logs. We saw them into sign material with a Wood-Mizer LT10 sawmill at our own home. Then we plane, sand, and carve with a CNC router. 

We do a lot more than signs. Goods and services we offer include on site saw milling, lumber, slab wood, woodworking, firewood, wood shavings, skid steer services, and more. If you live near central WI and need any of these, please contact us. Shalom!
